About the founders
Bjoern Schliebitz is a visionary who is able to combine his keen understanding of the Internet space with 6 years of management and consultancy experience in multi-national corporations. He is a tested e-commerce manager with hundreds of launches behind him and a master in BA.
He held numerous roles at Amazon – where amongst others he was the general manager for the Amazon.de website – and worked for clients such as T-Online where he acted as overall IT-coordinator and helped launch a fixed-price marketplace platform to compete with EBay.de.
His devotion to the creation of new and exciting products and the wish to share his experience has led him to be a co-founder of Theandb Ltd.
Agnes Ponthus, with more than 8 years experience in e-business strategy, management and development, she has gained a reputation as an energetic, hands-on leader, customer-focused and sharp on technology matters.
Backed by a PhD and 4+yrs practice in aerodynamics engineering, she excels in the conception of complex high-tech architecture, shaped to suit business needs from a wide spectrum of industries, ranging from space agencies (NASA) to e-commerce pure-players such as Amazon – where she initiated and ed the French & Canadian website teams, to launch Amazon.fr and Amazon.ca.
By co-founding Theandb Ltd, she sought to contribute her skills in the elaboration of innovative humane technologies and to share intelligently her global network of experts.
